
Susan W. Parker is Professor of Public Policy at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. She also serves as the Associate Director of the Maryland Population Research Center and is Affiliate Faculty at the Latin American Studies Center, University of Maryland. Her research focuses principally on education and health in developing countries, particularly on the evaluation of programs and public policies.
She holds a PhD and MA in economics from Yale University and a BA in economics and mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College. She is currently an affiliate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, research affiliate at the Population Studies Center at the University of Pennsylvania, at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Development.
